Is there a future for local media? #jeecamp
I’ve had a great time at Jeecamp 2009, an unconference about the future of journalism. But one thing struck me there.
A lot of people from the local/regional press were there, and had a lot to complain about…. I don’t read local newspapers, and to be very honest, never have. Have you?
In their current form, I don’t see them as relevant. Am I in the minority?

JeeCamp, to liveblog or not to liveblog?
I’m getting excited about JeeCamp, my first ever journalism convention.
A small army of City journos including @sheenarossiter @iainwithers & @michaelhaddon will be making the journey up from London.
