Met Police: Cameras got in the way at G20

It’s important that the media and the public hear the contempt the police appear to have towards press. This comes after recent changes in the law that make it illegal to photograph police officers.

Myself and fifteen other reporters conducted a live coverage of the events across the city during G20.

After the riots outside the Bank of England, I was searched and videotaped while being forced to give my name and address, despite carrying a press card.
